How we write: who checks the facts on this site

The pages on this site are written by the Varzish Mate team, a product of Vira Consultancy. We make gym management software for Indian gym owners, so we have a stake in every comparison here. This page explains what that means for how we write, how we check facts and how to tell us we got something wrong.

Who writes

The Varzish Mate team writes every page. Varzish Mate is a product of Vira Consultancy, a sole proprietorship registered in Sikar, Rajasthan. You can see the legal details on the about page. We do not use invented authors, stock testimonials or made-up reviews.

How facts are checked

About Varzish Mate: every claim about what the app does is checked against the product itself before it is published. If a feature is not shipped, the page does not claim it. We say plainly what the app does not do: for example, QR check-in marks attendance but does not open or block a door, and Auto reminders are sent from Varzish Mate's business number, not yours.

About other products: a fact about another company is only printed if we could read it on that company's own site on the day we wrote the page. Comparison pages list each source with the date we checked it. If we cannot verify something, we leave it out. We never print a competitor's price and link to their pricing page instead.

About numbers: every number on a page is one of four things: our own price, which is read from the live price list, a figure from a public source we cite, a figure from our own research that we describe, or the result of a calculator using what you typed. We do not invent statistics.

About tone: we describe categories, such as paper registers, Excel sheets and ad-supported apps, not named products. Where a competitor is stronger, we say so.

Our interest

We want gym owners to try Varzish Mate, and the pages say so with a trial link. We try not to let that bend the facts. If a page tells you the register or Excel is enough for your gym, that is what we think.

Reporting a mistake

Email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. A source link helps. We reply, correct the page if you are right, and update the date on the page. Company and complaint contacts are on the about page.

Update policy

• Each page shows its last update date.
• Comparison pages carry a checked date for every outside source and are re-read before they are changed.
• When a feature or price changes in the product, the pages that mention it are updated. Prices always come from the live price list, so they cannot drift.
• Seasonal pages are refreshed before each season.
• A correction is made in place, with the update date changed. We do not quietly edit a claim and keep the old date.
