Gym trainer access: give a trainer the floor, not the books

A gym trainer access app should let a trainer work the floor without opening your books. In Varzish Mate you invite a trainer with their own sign-in, and they get members, check-in and workouts. The Money tab, payments and club setup are not shown to them at all. Start the 30-day trial with no card and invite your first trainer.

Two roles, fixed

There are two roles: Owner and Trainer. The owner is the person who made the club account. Everyone you invite is a Trainer. You cannot make a custom role or choose permissions one by one, which keeps the rule easy to state: a trainer works with members, and the owner runs the business.

The limits go beyond hidden buttons. The tabs a trainer is not allowed are never drawn in the app, and the server refuses a trainer's requests to anything outside the trainer's allowed list, so a missing screen cannot be reached some other way.

What a trainer can do

• Today and Members. See the member list and open any member.
• Add and edit members. A trainer can add a member and change their details, except the plan start and expiry dates.
• Check-in. Mark who came. See attendance.
• Workouts. Assign a saved routine to a member, or to several, and share the routine PDF. See workout plans.
• Batches. See batches and who is in them, and move members between batches.
• Their own account. The Club tab shows only account rows for a trainer, including Log out.

Trainers see plan names and prices on the Add member form, because the form picks a plan. They do not collect the payment.

What a trainer cannot do

• Open the Money tab, the ledger or reports.
• Collect, record or waive a payment.
• Run bulk messages to members (see bulk messaging).
• Create or edit plans, batches, workout templates, exercises or the club profile.
• Export members and payments, change notification settings, open Subscription, log out all devices or delete the club.
• Delete a member.

Invite a trainer

1. Open Staff in the club setup and tap Invite.
2. Enter the trainer's name, a 10-digit phone number and an email address. All three are needed.
3. Save. The trainer shows in the list as Invited.
4. The app offers a short invitation message. You send it from your own WhatsApp. The trainer installs Varzish Mate and signs in with that number or email.

The Staff list shows each person's role, and marks an invited trainer until they have signed in.

Remove a trainer

Open the trainer in Staff, tap Edit, then Remove from staff and confirm. They leave the list and can no longer sign in to your club. This works at once, not when their session expires. Batches that name them keep the name, and nothing about your members changes. You can edit a trainer's name, phone and email from the same sheet.

Who this is for, and what it does not do

This suits an owner who wants trainers to run the floor from their own phone without seeing what the gym earns.
